Overview of rapid prototyping technology for metallic parts
Žaba, Tomáš ; Nevrlý, Josef (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor paper is to make a survey of Rapid Prototyping methods which enable workability of metal materials. It explains the principles of older methods as well as the latest ones including Selective Laser Sintering, Direct Metal Laser Sintering, and Laser Engineered Net Shaping, Direct Metal Deposition and Electron Beam Melting. The paper presents the examples of practical applications on component parts. The latest equipment and machinery available on present market and their technical specification are listed at the end of the description of individual methods. The paper is completed with visual documentation. The final part of the paper contains the analysis of gained pieces of knowledge and future possible development is outlined.
Shared Memory Objects Library
Dudka, Kamil ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis considers problems of IPC (Inter Process Comunication) in modern operating systems. It is concentrated on usage of shared memory as IPC in object-oriented language C++. Thesis includes design and implementation of library, which provides easy end effective usage of shared memory. The library makes possible to share C++ language's objects between processes. Furthermore it creates platform-independent interface for work with shared memory on operating systems Linux and Microsoft Windows. Effectivity of shared memory usage as kind of ICP is evaluated in the conclusion of the thesis.
Building a 3D Printer
Škop, Martin ; Klepárník, Petr (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to analyse available options for 3D printing using FDM technology according to requests of cooperating company, to propose several drafts of electronical and software parts of 3D printers. This also includes their connection, functionality testing and implementation of one chosen draft. The core of this Bachelor thesis was to document the progress in building the 3D printer and also to solve arisen problems. The result of this Bachelor thesis is practical realisation of electronic part of 3D printer including basical tests. Secondary benefit of this Bachelor thesis is to explain the issue of 3D printing with the option of building custom 3D printer from PiBot components.
Innovation of "Parking" Laboratory Models
Pindel, Tomáš ; Benešl, Tomáš (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with models of a parking lot used in the BPGA course as a learning kit,its innovation, realization of a universal connection to all sorts of the PLC SIMATIC S7-1500 in the laboratory and programming of model tasks in four programming languages: LAD, STL, GRAPH and SCL. The differences in programming in each of the languages are also analysed. Further on the making of a visualisation in WinCC is described for these model tasks. The result of this bachelor thesis are two fully-functionial models that can be used for teaching students with a connection to the PLC S7-1500 and their respective documentation. Finally, the model task and its corresponding program in languages LAD, STL, GRAPH and SCL is included + the created visualisation for HMI and PC.
Extending the Parking and Boxes Laboratory Models for Connectivity to Decentralized Periphery
Mancl, Vlastimil ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is about the description and connection of box conveyor and parking lot laboratory models to decentralized periphery made by SIEMENS with the usage of PROFIBUS DP communication standard. In order to do so, programs for controlling models were made in three different programming languages: LAD, STL and GRAPH. The programs were developed in engineering software SIMATIC STEP 7, created especially for programming PLCs made by SIEMENS company. Another part of this thesis is about the visualisation of laboratory models, made in WinCC software. The models were rated in terms of functionality and usability for study purposes. The results of this thesis are programes made for controlling the models with working visualisation and a possibility of connecting these models to decentralized peripheries.
Design of a proprietary standard for the Simatic S7-300 platforem
Posekaný, Jan ; Pásek, Jan (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
The thesis deals with the description of the standard for the operation of automation components for PLC Simatic S300. Further applications of the generator source files for this standard.
CAD data formats for exchange
Košťál, David ; Křupka, Ivan (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to show an overview about contemporary state of knowledge in area of CAD data exchange icluded trends of future development.
Control of the 3D printer using Raspberry Pi
Lokajíček, Lukáš ; Kazda, Tomáš (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor project deals with the possibility of solution to control 3D printer type RepRap using single-board computer Raspberry Pi. The theoretical part of semester project contains 3D printing theory focused on 3D printer built at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Technology. The last part of bachelor project is devoted to practical design of compact interface that assure communication between 3D printer and controlling software using Raspberry Pi.
Tool construction by using Rapid Prototyping methods
Mikulenka, Martin ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes methods of model manufacturing by Rapid Prototyping. Advantages and disadvantages are situated in the bottom of each method. This thesis includes the planning of preparative for manufacturing armature in technical software. There is short economical estimation at the end of this work.
Application of the Simatic control system for the packaging machine control
Urbánek, Tomáš ; Mišinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
Masters thesis deals with the SIMATIC, which is the process control system from Siemens. Simatic belongs to the group of so-called programmable logic controllers (English Programmable Logic Controller). It is a microcomputer that processes the instructions in real time. I have designed a control algorithm and HMI visualization in my Masterś thesis. Moreover,my attention is focused on PLC S7 - 300. The S7-313C is used for implementations. The proposed solution has been tested and operated in real conditions
